Romania, Hungary, France... Europe's nuclear power plants tested by heatwave

business

A severe heatwave is testing Europe's power supply as record-low water levels in major rivers, including the Danube, threaten to force nuclear plants to shut down. Governments in the region are implementing emergency conservation measures to prevent a full energy crisis as concerns mount over the economic fallout from extreme heat and irregular rainfall patterns.
