Hallucinations and a bottle of Coca-Cola: The final kilometres of Kubkowski's historic swim across the Baltic

Polish swimmer Bartłomiej Kubkowski completed a world record swim across the Baltic on Sunday evening—160 kilometers uninterrupted from Sweden to Poland. Euronews reports he also raised close to two hundred thousand euros for cancer research. The final kilometers tested him to his limits, with hallucinations setting in by the end, but he finished as a world record holder.
