Jetstar to charge passengers up to $52 to put baggage in overhead lockers

Per The Guardian, Jetstar will charge passengers up to fifty-two dollars to store carry-on bags in overhead lockers starting in February twenty twenty-seven. The airline says finding room in overhead lockers is a stressful part of the airport experience. The move removes the seven-kilogram weight limit that currently applies to carry-on bags, though size restrictions will remain.
