Jetstar to charge fees up to $52 to put carry-on baggage in overhead lockers

Jetstar will begin charging passengers up to fifty-two dollars to store carry-on bags in overhead lockers starting in February twenty twenty-seven, The Guardian reports. The budget airline is simultaneously removing the seven-kilogram weight limit on carry-on baggage, though size restrictions remain in place. The airline says the fee addresses the stress of finding overhead locker space.
