Base Power raises $1B to get big batteries into more homes

Base Power, a home battery startup, has raised a second billion-dollar investment round in less than a year, with its valuation climbing from four billion to thirteen billion dollars. Canary Media reports the Texas company had closed a billion-dollar round in October. The latest funding is led by Ribbit, Addition, and Valor Equity Partners.
