Xbox raises console prices by up to $150 starting August

According to tech culture site Boing Boing, Microsoft Xbox is raising console prices by as much as one hundred fifty dollars, effective in August. The company cites rising component costs—largely driven by the ongoing artificial intelligence buildout—as the reason for the increase. This comes even as Xbox has been touting its brand revitalization efforts under new leadership.
