Russian attack on Kyiv region kills at least 14 people, say Ukrainian authorities

Russian strikes hit Kyiv and the surrounding region, killing at least fourteen people and injuring twenty-seven, according to Ukrainian emergency service officials. The military administration said seven sites were struck in an assault that began after midnight Wednesday, with air raid alerts sounding for more than an hour as warehouses were damaged. The Guardian notes some reports put the death toll as high as fifteen.
