Massive Russian attack on Kyiv and Kyiv region kills at least 15, injures about 50

A massive overnight Russian missile and drone attack on Kyiv and the surrounding region has killed at least fifteen people and injured about fifty, per Meduza. Nine of the deaths were in the Brovary district, four in Bucha, and one in Fastiv, with Ukrzaliznytsia noting some victims were standing on a railway platform near targeted logistics centers. In Kyiv itself, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said one person died and twenty-six were injured, and that people may be trapped under rubble after a strike destroyed a home and warehouse in the Holosiivskyi district, where a separate strike also caused an ammonia leak. Russia's Defense Ministry claimed the strikes targeted military logistics and drone production facilities.
