Thai footballer killed in lighting strike during match in Narathiwat province; Malaysian among 12 others injured

A Thai footballer was killed by a lightning strike during the semi-final of the regional Golok FA Cup on Tuesday evening, Channel NewsAsia reports. The strike hit Santiphap Stadium in Thailand's Narathiwat province, injuring twelve others, including a Malaysian player.
