Man in police car chase charged with abducting 19-year-old, possessing parang

Police allege Mashahri Mazlan forced a nineteen-year-old man into a car and drove off as officers approached, sparking a chase. He's now been charged with abduction and possessing a parang, a machete-like blade, Channel NewsAsia reports.
