Request for mentors to join the Sentient Future Project Incubator

Sentient Futures is recruiting mentors for its second Project Incubator, according to a post on LessWrong. The ten-week remote program running through November ninth brings together researchers and collaborators focused on improving welfare for all sentient beings. The first iteration produced projects including TAC, an animal welfare benchmark, and research into how linguistic features influence large language models' reasoning about animal welfare. Mentors bring project ideas spanning frontier animal welfare, digital minds, and post-AGI futures, then get matched with vetted collaborators to serve as research assistants. The typical time commitment is thirty to sixty minutes of weekly calls with light async support. Applications for the second iteration close July eighth.
