Ukraine failed to shoot down a single Russian missile launched in overnight barrage

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is calling on allies to send more anti-ballistic air defense systems, Euronews reports, after Russian missile strikes killed at least seventeen people overnight on Wednesday. Ukrainian forces did not shoot down a single missile in the barrage. Zelenskyy has repeatedly pressed Western partners for expanded air defense since Russia's full-scale invasion began in 2022.
