National Democrats add former GOP Rep. Tony Gonzales’ district to Texas congressional target list

Per the Texas Tribune, national Democrats have added a Texas congressional district to their targets for twenty twenty-six — the seat vacated earlier this year by Republican Tony Gonzales. Though the district favored President Trump by fifteen points, its Hispanic-majority electorate offers Democrats a potential path to victory.
