Help (re)start AI Safety at UPenn!

University of Pennsylvania students are restarting their AI Safety group, inactive since late twenty twenty-four. According to LessWrong, two rising sophomores are leading the effort with two mentors and a newly launched Pathfinder Fellowship. Penn has created several AI-focused centers and programs, including an AI Safety center called ASSET, making it an ideal environment for student-led AI safety work. The organizers are now recruiting members and collaborators interested in the field.
