Pushing the limits: Infinite Machine's Olto is barely a bicycle
tech
Infinite Machine's new Olto is technically a bicycle, but you won't want to pedal it. According to Ars Technica, this electric scooter features Vespa-inspired styling with pedals locked permanently in place—they're footrests, not functional. By classifying it as a Class 2 or Class 3 e-bike, the Olto can legally use urban bike lanes while delivering the scooter experience. It's comfortable, quick to accelerate, handles well, and comes with a large battery and security features—all at less than half the cost of Infinite Machine's higher-end P1 model.
