Cinema Ritrovato Chief Gianluca Farinelli Appointed Artistic Director of Italy’s David di Donatello Awards

Gianluca Farinelli, head of Italy's Il Cinema Ritrovato festival dedicated to cinematic treasures of the past, has been appointed artistic director of the David di Donatello award — Italy's equivalent of the Oscars, Variety reports. Farinelli is also founder and chief of the Bologna Film Archives and its film restoration lab.
