Italy unveils 1,500km trail network dedicated to Saint Francis ahead of Pope’s Assisi visit

Italy has unveiled a fifteen-hundred-kilometer trail network dedicated to Saint Francis, called The Way of Francis, The Way of Light, Euronews reports. The routes are being promoted as part of celebrations marking eight hundred years since the death of Italy's patron saint. The unveiling comes ahead of the Pope's visit to Assisi.
