New Mexico sues justice department for ‘stonewalling’ Epstein investigation

New Mexico attorney general Raúl Torrez filed a lawsuit against the US Department of Justice, accusing it of stonewalling his state's criminal investigation into Jeffrey Epstein's remote ranch near Santa Fe. According to The Guardian, Torrez had previously warned he would pursue legal action if the federal government didn't provide information by July thirty-first about alleged historical abuse of girls and young women at the property. The DoJ appears to have missed that deadline.
