Suspect in Washington state wildfire was questioned about blazes last year

A Spokane man is facing arson charges after authorities say he started the Old Trails fire, one of three major wildfires burning through Spokane county, Washington. Aaron Farinacci, thirty-seven, was arrested Monday and booked on suspicion of first-degree arson, the Guardian reports, and court documents show he'd previously been questioned in two separate fire investigations last year. The blaze has destroyed homes and forced thousands of residents to flee.
