Artemis III Orion Crew and Service Models Joined

NASA reports that technicians at Kennedy Space Center have joined the crew and service modules for Orion on the Artemis III mission. The flight will carry four astronauts — Randy Bresnik, Andre Douglas, and Frank Rubio from NASA, along with Luca Parmitano of the European Space Agency — to test rendezvous and docking capabilities with commercial human landing systems from Blue Origin and SpaceX. The crew module sustains the astronauts while the service module powers and propels the spacecraft.
