Police charged the trans couple who said a mob beat them outside a park bathroom

Aurora Rush and Shae Sanders, a transgender couple in Louisiana, say a crowd surrounded them outside a park restroom on Wednesday, shouting threats and slurs and beating Sanders unconscious. Boing Boing reports that police charged Rush and Sanders, and asked the town council to pass a law banning their use of the bathroom.
