This Atlantic hurricane season is looking like a dud, but there will be a price to pay

The Atlantic hurricane season is tracking quieter than usual so far, according to Ars Technica. Through early August, only two named storms—Arthur and Bertha—have formed, and both moved through the Houston area as middling tropical systems. While current indicators suggest a subdued season could be in store, it's still early August, and the bulk of seasonal activity lies ahead.
