Judge tosses Alex Murdaugh’s $600,000 suit against former court clerk

A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit by Alex Murdaugh seeking six hundred thousand dollars in legal fees from a former court clerk. Murdaugh claimed Becky Hill's misconduct violated his right to a fair trial in connection with the deaths of his wife and son. The Guardian reports that Hill's misconduct led to his murder convictions being overturned on appeal, and he will face trial again.
