Trump deportations cost taxpayers $2,358 each

Axios reports on a new calculator from the Economic Policy Institute estimating that President Trump's mass deportation push would cost American taxpayers roughly twenty-three hundred fifty-eight dollars each — totaling nearly two hundred seventy billion dollars over the remaining two and a half years of his term. Those same federal funds could alternatively provide food assistance for one hundred eighteen million additional people or Medicaid coverage for twelve million more Americans.
