Venezuela earthquakes live: Death toll rises to around 235, health minister says 4,300 injured

Two earthquakes struck Venezuela on Thursday, killing around two hundred thirty-five people and injuring at least four thousand three hundred more, according to Health Minister Carlos Alvarado. Rescue teams are still searching for survivors as the United States prepares to send military ships and aircraft to provide humanitarian aid.
