A sixty-year-old man has died in Melbourne after an alleged assault, the Guardian reports. Victoria police say he suffered critical injuries on August first in the suburb of Sunshine, after a group of young people allegedly tried to steal items from a nearby store. Police allege the man had stepped in to help a shop employee before he was attacked.
