France's timber industry rushes to process trees charred by wildfires

France's recent wildfires have left the timber industry with an enormous backlog. More than thirty-five thousand metric tons of trees were cut down to create firebreaks and slow the spread of the flames, France 24 reports. Processing all this burned wood will take the industry more than two years to complete.
