A landmark study of nearly four thousand babies found acetaminophen and ibuprofen to be equally safe during infancy, ScienceDaily reports. Neither medication was linked to eczema or bronchiolitis, and the research detected no serious side effects. Researchers will continue following the children through age six to study possible long-term effects.
