Fox Appears to Block NFL’s Effort to Re-Do Massive Rights Deal

Fox CEO Lachlan Murdoch announced Thursday that the network will keep its National Football League broadcasting deal as is through twenty twenty-nine, Variety reports. The decision blocks the NFL's effort to use an opt-out clause to renegotiate, locking in the arrangement for the remainder of the eleven-year agreement.
