Tesla and SpaceX will invest $16.8B to start building ‘Terafab’ chip factory in Texas

TechCrunch reports that Tesla and SpaceX are investing sixteen point eight billion dollars in a chip factory called Terafab, to be built just north of Houston. The companies formally announced the project after months of speculation.
