France 24 reports that after every outbreak of violence, Israel seals off roads and checkpoints across the West Bank — as it did following clashes in Nablus on July 24th that left two Israeli settlers and four Palestinians dead. In a dispatch published Thursday, correspondent Claire Duhamel rode along with a paramedic who regularly transports pregnant women through those closures to reach hospital care, an ordeal the report says left one woman haemorrhaging at a checkpoint.
