South Korea's KOSPI plunges more than 8% in new tech rout

South Korea's KOSPI index plunged more than eight percent on Friday, according to Channel NewsAsia, as Asian technology stocks continued their week-long decline. Crude oil prices also wavered, initially spiking after a ship attack in the Strait of Hormuz before edging back down.
