Japan and India are partnering to expand clean-fuel infrastructure: the countries launched an initiative on July first aimed at building one thousand biogas plants across India by twenty thirty, with the goal of powering two point five million vehicles. The biogas would be generated from cow dung and agricultural waste. Channel NewsAsia reports that analysts expect the initiative will face both opportunities and significant obstacles as it scales.
