July’s heatwaves kept UK shoppers away from high street

UK high street visits declined three point eight percent year-on-year in July, per research from Sensormatic for the British Retail Consortium. The decline follows a steeper six point two percent fall in June, with shoppers choosing to buy online as temperatures climbed to the mid-thirties Celsius in some areas.
