The former detective who led the investigation into the killing of PC Andrew Harper says he's appalled at the prospect of his killers being released early, BBC News reports. Stuart Blaik, who headed the inquiry as a detective superintendent, is speaking publicly about the case for the first time. PC Harper, a Thames Valley Police officer, died in 2019 after being dragged behind a vehicle while responding to a burglary call.
