Alan Jones trial: complainant wants to ‘humiliate’ broadcaster by revealing intimate details of alleged assaults, defence tells court

The Guardian reports that Alan Jones, an Australian broadcaster, has pleaded not guilty to twenty-two charges of indecent assault and sexual touching. At a Sydney court, his defence barrister argued that one alleged victim invented intimate details of an alleged assault at a Fitzroy Falls farm to humiliate and smear him. The complainant identified as J testified earlier in the week, with the defence arguing those details were fabricated.
