Wrist Welcomes Wii Nunchuk As Gloriously Ergonomic Macropad

Video editor John Dingley spends much of his time triggering the same three or four keyboard shortcuts repeatedly, and decided an off-the-shelf macropad wouldn't cut it. According to Hackaday, he instead grabbed a Wii Nunchuk — a controller praised for its ergonomic design — and, using the open source ANAVI Handle adapter and some CircuitPython code, converted it into a custom keyboard for video editing. The Nunchuk's buttons and joystick now fire his most-used commands, and Dingley even shared the code and a walkthrough video so others can do the same.
