FlipBuddy is Borg, You Will Be Assimilated

Hackaday covers FlipBuddy, an open-source cube timer that replaces smartphone checking with tactile, task-based flipping. Created by Edris of Ponderly Robotics, you assign a task to each face and flip to switch tasks; it logs sessions to the cloud via WiFi with an optional companion app. The hardware is a microcontroller, motion sensor, six LEDs, and a rechargeable battery, all three-D printed as a single flat sheet you fold into shape. The philosophy is stripped-down simplicity: as intuitive as a chess clock, without the distraction of a phone.
