Murkowski won’t vote for Trump’s nomination of Blanche as attorney general

Alaska Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski announced early Friday she will not vote to confirm Todd Blanche as attorney general. Per The Guardian, Murkowski expressed concern that the Trump administration could proceed with a proposed fund to compensate January 6 Capitol rioters, despite Blanche's confirmation the plan is dead. Her opposition makes his confirmation path even narrower.
