The Trump administration finalized a framework this week for testing new artificial intelligence models for safety and cybersecurity risks. Per The Guardian, the White House is keeping the details private and will share testing criteria only with a select group of tech companies. On Tuesday, representatives from OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, Google, Nvidia and Microsoft attended a private White House meeting to review the framework, though the administration does not plan to release the policy publicly.
