Several musicians accused of supporting former president Bashar al-Assad are having their concerts cancelled across Syria this summer, France 24 reports. In Homs, the public tore down posters advertising performances by Mohamad Iskandar and Hossam Jneed, publicly denouncing their links to the regime. One of the artists responded with a public apology.
