Trump Nominates FCC Lawyer Danielle Thumann, an Adviser to Chairman Brendan Carr, to Serve as Commissioner

President Trump on Friday nominated Danielle Thumann to serve as an FCC commissioner. Thumann currently works as senior counsel to FCC Chairman Brendan Carr. If confirmed, she would give Republicans a three-to-one majority at the agency, with one seat remaining vacant.
