Memory manufacturer Micron has secured a five-year agreement locking in DRAM and storage prices at historically elevated levels, according to The Register. The commitment means the high component costs that have burdened PC builders and data centers will persist through at least twenty thirty-one, absent a significant market shift in supply or demand.
