Wasted medicine in England could fill 75 swimming pools a year, pharmacy group says

The National Pharmacy Association reports that three thousand four hundred tonnes of partly used medicines were disposed of in England during twenty twenty-four to twenty twenty-five—enough to fill seventy-five swimming pools. The pharmacy group is calling for more regular reviews of repeat prescriptions to tackle what it describes as a growing problem.
