NBA star Brandon Clarke died from heroin, cocaine effects, examiner rules

Memphis Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke died accidentally on May 11th, according to Al Jazeera English, with a medical examiner citing the effects of heroin and cocaine. Clarke was in his mid-twenties and had spent his career with the Grizzlies as a key rotation player since being drafted in 2019.
