The research shows that the current heat event is unequivocally linked to human-caused climate change. If the same weather pattern had occurred in nineteen seventy-six, temperatures would have been about three point five degrees Celsius cooler. The finding underscores how dramatically the climate system has shifted due to greenhouse gas emissions.
