L.A. Jazz Festival, Which Was Supposed to Feature John Legend, Janelle Monáe and Hundreds More, Canceled at the Last Minute

Variety is reporting that the inaugural L.A. Jazz Fest has been canceled just days before it was set to begin. The festival, scheduled to run August seventh through the twenty-third, was supposed to feature John Legend, Janelle Monáe, Parliament and Funkadelic, and Raphael Saadiq at a two-day concert at Dockweiler Beach, along with hundreds of other artists. The last-minute cancellation has already prompted online comparisons to Fyre Festival.
