Scoop: JD Vance raises $4.2 million in Silicon Valley

Vice President JD Vance raised four point two million dollars for the Republican Party at a Silicon Valley fundraiser Thursday night, according to Axios. The dinner at investor Chamath Palihapitiya's Palo Alto home drew major tech figures including Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong and Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan. About two dozen attendees paid two hundred fifty thousand dollars each. Vance, who worked in venture capital before his Senate career, has strong ties to the tech world. In his RNC finance chair role, he's deepening relationships with major donors ahead of an expected twenty twenty-eight presidential bid.
