According to France 24, South Korea is turning to personal drones to strengthen its defenses. Seoul plans to train five hundred thousand soldiers to operate drones and build more than one hundred thousand of them over the next three years. Facing a shrinking military recruitment pool and threats from North Korea, the country hopes personal drones will help shore up its defensive capability.
