Compa Chalino’s enemies: Who killed the king of corridos?

Chalino Sánchez, a corridos musician, was killed following a performance on Sunday, El País reports. During the show, someone handed him a handwritten note. After reading it, he appeared visibly shaken—wiping sweat, looking distressed—yet continued performing. The next morning, he was found dead in a stream with his eyes covered, hands bound behind his back, and two gunshot wounds to the base of his skull.
